:D sounds rover till you open it up, Throttle wide open switch not fitted yet and I think if it was on skinny tyres it would be silly fast.

I'm over the moon at MOT and will go steady as I don't want any issues before show.

I'll try to get a better vid, but it gives an idea

small teaser of my 90 powered by 1uzfe /asin warner auto/1.22:1 lt230 and on special tracks

Land Rover 90 v8 (special) first run - YouTube

25mph to 50mph in a national speed limit dash cam angle makes distance appear closer than it is.

less than half throttle Play LOUD notice tyre noise and also grumbling rear diff may possibly be heard

The last few seconds is sounding the nutts.... Prior to that it makes me wish ya had a rocket launcher to blast that campervan you're stuck behind! :)

thanks guys- makes all the frustration and issues to get it in and running etc worth while.

It just made me grin and the ease of driving is effortless.

need to get a rev counter in it but feels like way more left on throttle pedal

I'll see if taxed tomorrow if I can get a gentle clear run- the v8 sound track is superb and the dash cam does not do it justice.

oh and no cats as tested as a 1985 and landy exhaust = minimum 261hp

Yeah, the sound pick up on dashcams, even the GoPro's I've been using is truly ****e and never does V8's proud.
Looking forward to the next vid tho :)

Superb mate, genuinely impressive to see someone going outside of the norm and fiddling with denso electrics

Well worth it in the long run, huge power, huge drive ability, and huge reliability!

All the capacitors in ecu have been replaced- one had puked all over board- so replaced the lot as known issue and re lacquered board.

IACV still little sticky from non use.

I need to check clearance/modify sump before off roading and few other bits and pieces-but I'm really really pleased to have it drivable:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Oh and a rear prop and diff wouldn't go a miss.

But I'm well pleased
