Hey keep the tow bar a vauxhall cav hit the back of my disco and it's now scrap,For me the damage was a split tow ball cover and the tow socket cracked.

had a similar experience recently. having been rear ended 5 times in 4 years, (twice by police cars) written off twice, hospitalised once and a hit and run, I decided that it was time to buy a landrover. (perhaps it was the thought that it was aluminium and not magnetic)

Honest Guvner! 4 months after purchasing my disco I was rear ended again by a pretty young thing making a mobile phone call whilst hurtling towards my back end at a roundabout. I have to say what a pleasure it was to be rearended once again. I barely felt the shunt but GOD I HEARD THE BANG!

Peugeot 206 jambed about 1/3 length under the tow bar, water and steam p***ing all over the place plastic bumper/skirt bent like a large V both headlamps Fooked. It totaly disintergrated The bonnet was rolled up like a tin of sadines. She managed to put paint all over my tow ball but apart from that there was NO DAMAGE! It just goes to show the death traps people ride around in. This was approx a 35 mph shunt!

Also just for good measure there was a police vehicle 2 cars behind who saw the whole thing He just put the blue p**s pot on, got out and said do you just want to sort it out then? I smiled and said Fooking right bud!

I have sisnce considered having a slogan air brushed onto my disco's bumper

(YOUR SKID STOPS HERE!)

well why are you reading it if that is such an issue. No not a bull****ter just a honest jon who has had some bad experiences from other poor drivers.
