Hi,
I have a brand spanking new never used clarke 1000kg hi-lift engine crane for sale.
I brought it from machine mart to remove the engine from my discovery, to replace therear core plug, but when I was stripping the engine down (still in car) I found the missing core plug was the one behind the outlet manifold so never used the crane.

It is in Bromley kent and is too heavy to post, I need to get back £100 (It cost £165).

Don't know where this is supposed to go as I thought there was a for sale and wanted section on here, but can't find it.

Anyway if anyone wants it, call me or private message me
Thanks

Is anyone breaking a 200DTi Disco? I need some oddball bits and pieces like steering shroud, indicator stalk housing and cancelling ring. maybe a drivers seat frame and centre cubby box lid and hinges.

If yu bought one for the engine and transmission, do yu want to sell the above? PM me please.

@S71. I got the complete clocks panel with all the dials and lights for a Series 3.....somewhere...... :)

Sorry for putting this here but want to catch Andy,
I just heared about the awdc comp at slindon last month. Andy co driver is a friend not known him long but he is a top guy. I did not know the driver but from all accounts a good man and a true hero within our sport.

I'm sure he will be truly missed. Our hearts go out to his family.

There was an accident at yesterdays Sidbury Safari (13/03/2010) involving Ray Kempster and his Navigator Andy Dennis, whilst travelling at speed Ray's car rolled end over end a number of times, resulting in both Ray and Andy being air lifted to Hospital . Ray underwent a 7 hour operation on his neck and upper spinal region and is now under Medical Observation.

Andy Dennis was discharged from Hospital later on Saturday afternoon.

Rays wife Vonnie has asked that we ALL respect their privacy at this moment in time and please do not try to contact her.

I will keep you all informed as and when any news becomes available via the AWDC website, in the meantime our thoughts and prayers are with Ray and his Family at this time.

Unfortunatly Ray Died from his injuries sustained in the crash.

I just thought Andy may have heared or even been there. I only heared about it today and am still quite shocked.

Yes have heard, but not involved.

Oddly SCOR had a comp safari at the same site the weekend before and we too had a driver air lifted to hospital.

I am not sure what the MSA and MOD will make of all this (it was an MOD site) but I understand that the AWDC are considering adding neck braces or head restraints to their SRs for speed events.

Just to add, I am not the Andy mentioned as the co-driver.

Good to hear.....

.....BTW I am breaking a 200 Tdi Discovery (engine and ancillaries already transplanted) I have my eye on some of the interior (just to freshen up my own truck) but the rest is available.

PMs will usually attract my attention rather than replying here :)
