On my friend's LR3, he pushed in by hand both side mirrors and then pulled them back out again. Somehow that unstuck the fold motors and both sides started folding in & out again. Weird...

Seen that if u fold them forward and spray with wd40 it can sometimes get them working again , or alas if that doesnt work, ie fuses etc , will be time for the multimeter
They should feel solid, then click unlock and move freely to the folded position when pushed .I can fold them in and out manually, and theer's not much resistance..
By manually folding the mirror, you are unlocking a detent mechanism, which after an initial tightness (detent locked) the mirrors should fold easily.it doesn't sound like there's a motor connected to the action. Should there be some whirring sound when I move them by hand?
