Hi
Forgot to say it also shows fault codes. Had it for over a year now and quite happy with it. You can set it to show 4 readings, mine is set to show mpg, inlet manifold temp, manifold pressure and engine temp. The manifold pressure displaay works like a boost gauge however it reads absolute pressure, so even when the engine is off the gauge will read the atmospheric pressure this will be 15 to 16 psi so when the turbo spins up you will see a rise in pressure eg when the gauge shows 20 psi this is a boost of 5psi.
Mine is mounted on top of the rear view mirror, to do this you need the mirror mount kit that also has the extension lead. The kit is bracket that clamps to the mirror, but this does not fit the FL so i drilled and taped a hole for the screw. I could have saved money by getting a extension from PC world (modem male to female) and using the supplied pads to fix to headlining.

Hi
I fitted a "Scangauge 2" search for this on internet. Its mounted above the rear view mirror and connects to the diagnostic plug in the passenger footwell (2005 Td4). It takes a bit of setting up but displays, mpg, rpm, roadspeed, voltage, water temp, induction temp, induction pressure and more.
If you want to mount on mirror you will need to buy the mounting kit with extension lead as well.

Thanks for the info, put one on my Christmas list :)

Just a word of warning about products such as ScanguageII. Your car has to be of the age where it is OBD2 compliant. I have a 2001 TD4 and I bought a unit that transmits OBD data to ipod/iphone. It didnt work on my freelander but worked on other petrol cars, so i sold it. I think that there is a date by which petrol/diesel engines needed to be compliant and I think petrol was 1996 and diesel 2003. If anyone manages to get a Scanguage working on an early TD4 like mine then I would be interested to hear about that.
