Hi all. I have a 98 P38 DSE with 209000 miles. Not to long ago I noticed diesel dripping down the sides and the back of the pump. Took it to a mechanic I know who has been fixing BMW engines for ages. No sweat, he just changed the gaskets without removing the entire pump from the car. He just took off the top part and later carefully put it back and re-aligned the thing. Two gaskets in total. Just wanted to share some pictures. It might help someone in the future. Also changed injector leak-off pipes, Inlet manifold gaskets and new glow plugs.
