Just tested my lighting board to see if the trailer light on the dash flashes and it doesn't. The lights etc work but what a pain. Had a look online but the correct cable doesn't seem to be listed anywhere so will have to look out for a used one.
Started OK this morning will have to wait until Wednesday to be sure it's fixed though.
I can give you the correct connections for the trailer sockets if you wish so you can make your own cable.

No need to paste into another application. On win 7 or 8 just do the Alt-PrtScn and then Control-V to paste into LZ reply.

On Win10 either do same, or use Win-Shift-S and select the part of screen to copy. Then paste as above.

That's a useful tip thanks.:) I'll try it nd see if it works on my system.

So went out to start up this morning and battery is flat again. Started with my Noco Lithium jump pack OK but the battery voltage when off is only 12.15v. Have plugged in the Ctek again and will wait for it to charge up again before I do more investigation. Think it may be a case of disconnecting things and doing process of elimination. Oh the joys of P38 ownership :)

Have you taken the battery off to charge it? Leave it for 24h after a full charge and see what the resting voltage is

I did do that last week, charged it on the bench and it settled at 14.22v 24hrs later it was 14.18v but I am going to do it again. I have a smaller battery I can use to test current drop etc but not big enough to run the car on though.

Something wrong there. It shouldn't be 14v after you've had the charger off for 24h
Is it a standard sealed lead acid battery?

That what I thought, might be my eyes that's why I want to to it again. Think it may have been 13.25v not 14 think that was the charger voltage.

Make sure the charger is completely removed then check with a multimeter the next day :)
If that's good, put it back on the car, pull the ignition/fuel pump relay and crank the engine.. watch the voltage at the battery while it cranks, should be around 11v

OK so before I removed the battery from the car I checked the current draw again. Once the BECM has gone to sleep the reading is 0.068a if I disconnect the live feed to the LPG ecu it drops to 0.024a.
The battery is on the bench, before I connected the charger the voltage read 12.2v.
Will charge it and then leave it for a couple of days and see what happens.
