Afternoon ladies,
Has anyone any experience of fitting Masai glass on the rear and sides of a 110?
I’ve watched a you tube video and it makes it look fairly simple (like they do!!)
Or is it best left to the experts?

Leave it to the experts, expensive if it goes wrong ;)

Thanks for that, I thought as much.
The YouTube vids are good but quite often there are some things edited out and I know a youtuber who regularly edits out the extra pair of hands needed or the bit where he takes it to the garage to fix his mistake then edits it to look right for final video.

The money spent fitting both properly will be less than buying a new one if you break it ;)

did he take pics if so post them...if not???
My brother fitted at the weekend on his own and despite being totally useless he managed to do a good job. He said it was very easy to do
Well I bit the bullet and gave it a go and it’s come out ok, the hardest part was removing the rear side windows as they were bonded and not riveted to the vehicle (I used a large fairly flixible sharp kitchen knife to cut the mastic bonding them and although I caused a few scratches around the window I was happy as I knew they would be covered by the new glass.
After that I gave the surfaces a good clean and applied the activator to the glass and vehicle then mastic just onto the glass, once that’s done I lifted it into place and you get a few minutes to move it about before it really sets and gets difficult, after that some careful application of black silicone around the edges and job done.

is masai glass the curved bits in the roof edge?
Isn't it just the use of a bit of paracord lace to pull the rubber through like old windscreens used to be done?

Does the thickness of the glass stick out much past the doors ?

I've fancied doing this to my 90 for a long time now .

Hello there, size wise it fits the panels really well with probably only a millimetre around the edge and it’s probsbly only about 3mm thick so doesn’t stick out noticeably. I will take some more photos and post them.
