Checked in and by gosh you've all had a good natter about speakers, but again nothing is done and no pictures!:D

I wouldn't bother about the camera just yet either, getting the head in and working for 2 days is your priority:eek: Then on day 3 you can start thinking about the camera!

I've been asked a few times about import units, and what's my view on these, well the simple answer is there OK, if you walk into a shop in the UK you can spend £800 on a unit and you know if you have problems you can normally take it back depending on the time frame and you’ll either get help off the shop or at least the unit is sent away for repairs/replacement.

The import unit’s may be less powerful in some aspects but they still do the job they were built to do, a large selection is out there from resolution size, wheel control, Freeview TV, removable screen, Bluetooth, GPS, TMC, the list goes on and on.
The reason why people ask is simple: To save money.

A lot of threads say don’t bother, I’d say make up your own mind, just cos it’s on a thread doesn’t mean it’s good advice, pick a few units, look in to customer reviews and make your own mind up! :)

Nope I'm happy wif mine, I did stick some new ones in when I bought the car, but was just like for like..... Haven't a clue what size they were???

well from the other post on landy zone, someone else fitted some 6.5" with no problems, so i'll give them a go. :p

We will be watching:cool:

This Primo is pretty good, full on little tricks 8 could only dream of.

I'm not sure if I'll keep it but I will give it a try. Like how you can program the software to say your name for example "Warning Anguslives Speed Camera ahead":D

It's coming along few more bits to set, but I think I've nailed most of the work.....

Now I could be a right bitch and program your unit to say rude stuff when approaching a speed camera like "Oye Fat S**g" (cockney accent required - please insert here) haha

The fun to be had!!!!

But I'm not that evil........................?

Sods law states the first weekend when your not outside working on the car the weather is bright and sunny! This is good yes, but wouldn't it make your life just that little bit better if the weather was also nice when you needed it to be!

well, got home tonight and thought id try one of my new speakers to see if it fitted and if i needed to make any spacers.

well, fitted it in 5 mins, fits perfect, and it sounds soooo much better and clearer than the original rubbish !

just look at the difference in them

much better than the other jbl models with the silly tweeter that breaks off in the middle of the speaker :p
