Well if u need it what can you do? And it's cheaper than a new unit! Compressor is sat on kitchen table now waiting for the new bits to arrive

ARRRRGGGHHHHHHHHH

so i took the pump apart today and could see the problem straight away, the seal around piston was fooked! Took piston out and when moving the pump about i could hear a rattle from other end, curious i took it off, and found one of the bushes had broke off. So now its completely ####ed, not a happy bunny. Why does it always happen when most skint.Work needs to pick up quick!

Should be able to source new brushes with a bit of effort.

Should have asked kurtjohnson if he had a new pump, sometimes he has one in the sale section, cheaper than anywhere else

I really don't think it should be repaired. It's all broken up inside. I'd rather be safe and get a new one tbh

Yeah I have. He pm'd me the other day. 100 quid delivered so can't complain. Just come at a bad time.

That's the state of piston. Surprised it never gave up before!

It looked as bad as mine did! Although i got no errors with mine just very slow height changes in some cases never!

I did mine just before xmas. The piston seal on mine had disintigrated into powder. No faults, just struggled to raise. Kit from Symilise & all good again.

All done, new compressor on! happy days. still need to do diaphragm but that can wait for a warmer day.its bloody cold today!

If the diaphragm is leaking you won't have a new compressor very long, it will become an old one PDQ.

well not sure if it is, but kurtjohnson gave me the spares to do it as a precaution.

Ok i misunderstood you. If suspension is going up and compressor is stopping it should be fine. Do the diaphragm at your leisure. :)

Tested it suspension going up, pump not running constantly. Seemed to have developed an idle problem as well now. Typical!
