Hi chaps, my TD4 broke down today just simply cut out, so no fuel pump noise, have the Torque app on my tablet and the fault code reads C2843 now I be leave C= chassis as for the numbers? any one any ideas what it could be, Saturday I'll check power and earth to the pump.
Any help would be appreciated.

C prefix isn't a valid prefix with those numbers.
P2843 where the P stands for Power Train is a gearbox drive (D) fault.
You could have a random error generated at some point in the past I suppose.

I think the problem with the code is the software app, more to think about.

First check underbonnet fuse and relay for the fuel pump.

Thanks for the input lads it was the fuel pump in the end, changed it and the filter as well, all is good now.
