Yes Keith i know. But the answer i gave was when he asked in post 60 if the third sensor, part number STC2254 quoted by Tomcatrr could be fitted to his 1997 car. I said NO but you can fit Keiths fan mod. If he has an overheat problem now, i agree he needs to sort that first before doing any mod. Masking a problem is never good practice.

About STC2254, it´s a "simple" termoswitch with a 100ºC trigger point.
You can use it, swapping the variable thermoswitch in the Datatek mod, for example.
The people who did this upgrade(stc2254), found a little work and some difficulty... It´s better than nothing, but the AC fan kick a "little to late"...
