Hi. i'm reasonably new to the forum. Joined when i bought my first freelander in 2011. Have just bought a 2005 freelander TD4. It seems to have a smoke problem. If i hold it at around 2000 RPM with the vehicle stationary it poors diesel smoke out the exhaust. Have replaced all four injectors with recon ones and still the same. It some times smokes slightly when driving but not all the time. It is quiet thirsty on fuel too. It has had the fuel pressure wiring loom replaced at sometime. Any ideas would be greatfull. I have been to our local landrover specialist but they just want to replace every sensor on engine. Thanks for any comments recieved. Stomper.
