If you want a fwd pre 2001 one, yes it would be pretty straight forward. If you want 4x4 facelift you'll have probs
 
If someone donated a 1.8 freelander, an L series Freelander box and the T16 engine and bits needed, I'm happy to be guinea pig :)
 
Listed off the top of my head, the biggest loads I've had on the roof and being called a #### for not having pictures of every dubious load I've carried...?!

It is about as accurate!

Although when I got my first car I used a haynes to do the piston rings. With no previous experience and a really cheap set of spanners.

It was a mini though!
