Hello just wondered what mpg i can expect to get from my freelander 2 td4 gs 2013. Im struggling to get just under 33mpg driving very conservative,i expected more like 40 am i being unrealistic or could i have an engine problem i cant detect. Thanks. The quoted mpg for vehicle seems impossible. Egr was deleted on advice of a garage after it failed a while back. Cld it be that

The sooner I get shot of my Freelander 2, the better. According to the display on last fill up I got about 27mpg driving locally. On a decent run it reckons I can get 450-500 miles on a tank. Both figures with a not too heavy right foot.

Hope this helps.

Over 52k miles and 6.5 years our 2010 Freelander 2 Td4 HSE, on Pirelli Scorpion Zero tyres, averaged 30mpg with the moving average over 5 tanks fluctuating between 28 and 32mpg. Brilliant car. One of the ones we should probably never have got rid of.

I did 530 miles in an sd4 auto and it worked out 3/4 of a tank with 75% of the journey locked on at 70.

Just did over 750 miles in my MY09 td4.
Averaged 37mpg, 85% of it over motorways and A roads.
… With a box on the top!

And that was brimmed tank each time, recording miles and fuel used, and calculated (not the ‘screen’).
