Seems to be ok, still a little air to bleed out but I'll take that! Funny story, the windscreen was fogged up when I came out of the shop and I started the engine, I had a new fog sponge that I'd bought and by the time I'd got it out of it's packet I didn't need it any more!

Very impessive! Always good to not only overcome these known niggles but to improve on them with good results...... Well done sir.

Thanks man, it'll need a damn good run in before I really trust it but these things have a way of working themselves out.

What's important it to take a step back and think analytically, eliminating one problem at a time :). Shame it won't add to the value of the vehicle though :(. Not that I care much, I've said it before and I'll say it again - when Evoques and Disco 4's are having problems with their electronics in 10 years and are worthless because they're too costly to fix, my Freelander will still be getting muddy and putting a big grin on my face :).

Thanks MHM, this is fast turning into a cooling system that I don't even know where you'd find it. Not on race cars as their cooling circuit is far simpler.

I must stress that although there has been alot of trial and error, blood sweat and tears the system is not that complex. It's finding out how to re-arrange it that has been hard, not the installation itself. Like I said the basic EWP system works wonderfully and the EBP just allows for antarctic travel comfort :). Plus I'm a dangerous combination - curious and pig headed. Something doesn't work too well? Make it work alot better. Looking like it might have been a waste of money? Bollocks to that I will bend it to my will!

This is all baby steps toward a freelander with the same torque/ton and a third more bhp/ton than a TDV6 RR Sport! Ok I'll stop talking about that now, I need to get on with that and show you guys some results!

How to get the same torque per ton etc as my bmw 530 d ???
:):):)

Whats the latest then will? Is the system still air free n gettin hot nice n quick?
I have fitted the modified stat setup with the thermostat at the low point near the rad, trouble is the engine seems to get up to temp nice and quick wich is good but struggles to heat the cab efficiently can't for the life of me understand why other than that maybe the pump is on its last legs and isn't circulating 100%

Mine works great! Sure it's not a heater control problem?

Could be? as in the dial isn't turning the heater mixer to fully open (hot) worth a looking at I suppose I've got a spare one in the garage I will try it out. :confused2:

Seems to be working fine. If I had to guess I'd say that at 12v on run on mode the pumps are fitghing each other a bit but during normal ops it seems fine. DD wired the EBP to an ignition relay but the ones he had were duff, once we put a new one in the EBP will only operate on thr controller feed when the engine is running :).

Will.

Does the new bumper mounted ram air device make any difference?

Do yu think it might be worth having some form if manual control to operate the EBP without anything else running?

Hmmm, might be worth fitting a separate timed relay to illiminate the problem of the pumps fighting each other? I think it's known as a j k flipflop timing circuit??
