missing a few things, just makes no sense there is a 164 virtual machine in this post also some stuff might fail as the software calibrations on car will be higher than available on sdd you will get complaints

but why 130 is old old old.
It's for a specific usage case - I have 164 running happily, (I've not yet had to move over to a VM, despite an uninstall / reinstall earlier this month) which I use for most non-Pathfinder stuff.

Hello there!
I decided to upgrade my front seats in the x351. The replacement seats came from an older model. Luckily Jaguar changed the wiring thrice from 2010 to 2014 in XJ. I managed to get the wiring sorted so all adjustments work. Unfortunately I could not rewrite the ccf as it fails on calibration. If I try calibration only it would throw an error on SDD and it needs to be restarted to work again. Also, one of the plugs has more wires than it is on a car. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks

Yes. It is working as I did battery reset and cleared gearbox adaptations after oil/filter change. Just this throws an error. I wonder if the wiring isn't correct or missing wires from vehicle harness.

Hi so SDD 164 has been deadlocked by age (2 years) so will no longer work even after fresh install.
I created a page to run it in a Virtual Machine, url: https://dl.ltsdiag.com/sdd username landy password zone.
Documentation on how to run is there as well.
I just discovered this, Thank you for the vm!

In other words i bought a probably knock off mongoose cable because it was 35 euro because i had an error code with my air suspension (i have a range rover sport L320 2007). after reading and clearing the other codes, only the code B1A84-55 RLM codes.

From the seller i got a offline cracked software and it asked to get config files online from the server but because it was cracked i can't do this. Is there anything i should watch out for in the configuration files that are supplied with the vm?

dunno what you mean the config files are flash files are all genuine downloaded from jlr. they are not molested or altered, just the login is "solved"

I mean because you cant have internet and that the login is "solved" that there won't be any issues. I just updated the RLM module of my car and it succeeded, so thank you very much for it! Can i make a donation towards you for it?

I just have another question, The configuration files are they the most recent or would there be a newer release of them in the future?

And also i read about on the forum about the license of jlr sdd on the vm that if the date is set to today that it suddenly wouldn't work. Do you know why this happens?

most of the times it trying to download the online as-built ccf i order to check if any retrofits are added or mods. If you skip that (say no) it will use the bcm/ipc/pcm ccf instead and you can program.

Hi people spread this on forums etc, drawing attention to the site.
Password changed, therefore please PM for one time pass.

Hi all, i've just joined this group (I try to be active on the RRS forum) to see how i can help in general maintenance (happy to list out the areas i've dabbled in so far), but also specifically very keen to get SDD up and running as i recently bought a MY13 RRS from auction with only one key and would like to be able to programme in a couple of additional after-market ones.

I've just got a chinese rip-off mongoose cable and they've supplied v163 with it, but i can't get it working, so was wondering what version people think is best to use these days (note an early post suggest v139 was the sweet spot) and from there, what are the system requirements? does it always need to be 32bit or did that change at some point?

I've also seen visual studio being pre-installed but not sure if that's required. I have an old laptop dedicated to this project and can build whatever version of Win is best and/or VirtualBox VM.

Any suggestions/assistance would be appreciated.

Not sure what people are doing for power supplies but thought i'd share after seeing a post about a TLC 13.8V supply (think it was about £40 for 30amps - actually found the link https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/SK650762.html i went about finding similar ones. Anyways, tons on Amazon rated as (fixed) 12V to power LEDs etc. I got a 480W (so theoretically 40A @ 12V) 'warehouse' return for £10 and have tested the rheostat and it seems to hold a pretty steady 13.8V no load. Not sure of the current at that voltage yet or how it will do under long term load, but will test and let you know.
