Hi all,

I've just joined so thought I'd drop an intro post in here to start with.

I have a 96 P38 4.6 HSE which I brought about 3 years back. Its not our only car (thank god !). I'd like to say I've had no problems with it, but I'd be lying
I found this forum tonight whilst searching for a solution to my current crop of problems, and I'm hoping you nice people will be able to help me sort the problems without having to call in a RR tech and hand over a barrow full of folding. ;)

Cheers,
John.

:welcome: to LZ :D Try postin your problems on the RR thread... the guys there will be be able to see your post and give you advice :)

Welcome to landyzone John.:welcome2:

I don't think we've ever been called 'nice' before. It's usually a variety of affectionate terms like w**kers, c**ts, tw*ts, etc.

I hope you have rhino skin mate.;)

Oh and no tramping mud and oil overthe red carpet when you get to the rangie section.:D:D:D

Hi John :welcome2: to the asylum! Please collect your flak jacket and tin hat from reception and keep your head down below the firing-step! :D
Enjoy!

Thanks for the welcome people.

Asylum eh, sounds like I'll fit right in ! :D
Rhino skin ?
Flak jacket ?
I bet your all a bunch of pussy cats really ;)

I guess I might not be your usual rangey owner by the sounds of it.
When I bought mine it needed a bit of tlc.

It was affectionately nicknamed 'the blood wagon', because it had clearly been used for hunting and the back of it was plastered in the stuff.
Mud everywhere too - even footprints on the headlining ! (boots, not stiletoes :p)
I thought the blood was probably deer or something, but come to think of it....:eek:

All suspension airbags were shot, paint needed a good polish, hevac & radio issues, the list goes on. All was fixed at the time along with a full service, but now some of the funnies are starting to return.

It is a great car, but having driven my 45 mile commute more than a few times on the bump stops, it does get on my t!ts sometimes ;)

So thats the potted history
I'll now suit up and sit back, check outr some of the banter, and see if any of you people have any meets near me at all. Any excuse for a beer is good :D

Cheers,
John.
