Well fellas, dont think i will make Christmas laning day. Wife's been in hospital since christmas eve, she was taking MY dog for a walk on the farm because MY back is ****ed and tripped on the uneven ground. Broke her left ankle left elbow and shattered her right wrist, hopefully having surgery tomorrow to fix it all. they actually said i should take her home and they would give her crutch,s untill they came operate,i pointed out that might be a little hard with two arms and an ankle in plaster.
She was more ****ed off that they had to cut her new jeans and Berghaus coat off.
Women the weaker sex?

Jimmy its on Sunday. We do a whole day once a year.

Sorry to hear that Geoff, hope shes ok! Sounds very nasty for a fall!

So, now i seem to have got to the bottom of the overheating issue, i can get on with making the Discovery useable. I have a somewhat long list of things to do this week if i get the weather! Mike will be helping with one of them which is one done for sure LOL List as follows:

1. Oil change throughout. Engine, Box, TX Box, Axles
2. Headlight swap to 200tdi
3. Prop swap for a 200tdi one
4. Boot floor cut out and new one fitted
5. Rear Wiper replacement
6. Head Unit swap
7. Fit Swivel Shackels onto the winch bumper
8. Rock Sliders - try and fit them somehow
9. Purchase Light Bar and Lights
10. Bush Wires fitting
11. Steering Guard fitting
12. Fix the all-of-a-sudden-non functioning heater fan!

Typical isnt it. Get the heat coming through finally, and the bloody fan packs up that pumps it through LOL

hi guys, is there any room on sunday for another vehicle or two. i have finally got a day free when you guys are going out and i would like to join you in my 90.

Ouch, Sorry to hear that Geoff, I hope your wife makes a speedy recovery.
Hopefully everyone else had a less eventfully Christmas.

Looking forward to the 30th, looks like there are a few of us
I changed my lights today, wow what a difference and Jon you were right they didnt have those rubber cups on. Thankfully I had brought some anyway.

But now the indicator (F.O.S) won't bloody work. I think it might be a corroded connection / earth. I'll check it again on Saturday.

Also found the air filter casing wetter than expected. Been playing in the fords / floods etc, so I'm hoping to pick up some tigerseal tomorrow and I'll reseal the snorkel.

I have just bought myself a full lights kit so will have a set of working indicators you can have, they are working but not mint and only gonna go in the bin, can bring them on the 30th

Geoff, that don't sound good, hope she gets better soon

Got a lot of condensation in the back, and i mean a lot, used an old t-shirt to dry it out and it was soaked lol. Took the headlining out today, dryed the roof properly and chucked a tub of moisture crystals in there. Going to get some camping mats and try and insulate it better. Tidied all the wiring up in the front from the spotlights etc while I was at it. :)

Sorry to hear about your wife Geoff, hope she makes a quick recovery :)

Cheers Jon, That would be great.

I'm going to sell my Boost alloys soon, but they have seen better days.
Thinking I might get them refurbed first, anyone recommend anywhere local

Was thinking the same for my Predator rims, can they be dipped to strip them back to bare metal, don't mind repainting them myself.
