Coming home from work this morning up the A12, we passed mini convoy of landies, (and one hilux surf), obviously on their way to a meet. They came off at Eight Ash green, Colchester. Was that you lot? If it was, where were you going? I live in Colchester and would like to come and have a look if I get a bit of time today.

There were loads of groups out today. That wasn't us with the surf.
Keep an eye on the thread Steve, we tend to go laning fairly regularly, your more than welcome to join us.

Is the prop still good?
 
Great day. Thank for route planning Mikey. Sorry we had to shoot off before the 2nd group caught up.
I have a very muddy Landy :D and I have finally lost a step lol.

Sounds like you had a good day, Nick. I didn't have the prop mate, I had the window regulator and its still good, thanks. Had a bit of a problem with home made bio diesel the other day, lol, and have a few jobs to do this week, but I'll keep an eye on the thread and try to join you some time.
 
Yeah was a good day. Again the standard Disco did me proud. Need to sort my headlights though. Blown bulbs due to water ingress so gonna slap sealant everywhere lol

No not at all. Was just extremely technical. I got stuck going down what i got stuck on trying to get up, but to be fair, mike was at some extreme angles. I also got through more than i thought i would. Id try it again without a second thought.
 
Thanks for a good day everyone, Mikey for the route and Nick for leading. Sorry about bailing out early but got a call my other half and was waiting to be picked up, she was not impressed with having too wait a couple hours for me to get to the hospital.
 
Well we were out and about. Bumped into a lot of people but not you I don't think. What's your facebook page. Did you all have a good day

Yea had a good day out. Just 4 of us from herfordshire. We will have to come down and meet up sometime. Can't believe you did violets. Must of been deep in the dips.

We drove it back and forth a couple of times struggled for grip a couple of times but bog standard disco with snorkel done it ok. Next time we go out will give you a shout.
