They spend hours on them and **** loads of money too, had a chap harassing me to buy the bowler frame on it's own was prepared to pay up to 200 for just a metal frame  I said no cause I can't be added building little man another:D

They look great but, winches that actually work a step to far I think some even have twin motor ones, great if you have kids but would rather just have the real thing. ;)

Did Geoff take his motor through violets ? assume he must have relocated his ECU if the the Wrangler started floating, looks deep. Drove it a couple years ago and it was bonnet deep with tide marks of at least 6ft

yep went through OK and only a little water in the foot well, more water proof than i thought.

Hi Jon, I got about a third of the way through and started bobbing, every on else seemed to be doing fine. We got to the next shallow bit the done a u turn. Glad I did now I've looked under the bonnet water was lapping the ecu :0( :0)
Gary got a few great pics, he was hanging off trees along violets :0)

Thats OK then, its not so bad if you can keep moving, its when you stop / get stuck the water get everywhere.
Been looking for some pictures when one of our club members drove the ford at Danbury in flood, water was up to bottom of screen, he drove it one way turned and re-drove this time his snorkel failed and left him stranded, standing on his roof for a few hours waiting for help, he was on a solo fording run in the afternoon.

There are some pics and a funny vid on facebook. Hawkswell tiling
