was that a normal series 3 landy?

But it's still a standard series only with a few mods well impressive!

Its the range rover rostile wheels that do it.lol.......... Def far from a seris landy.

Saying that you would be very supprised what a standard landrovercan cope with even a little series 1. We see laods of standard ones on the SLROC Courses on a driving day some even keepimg up with the hi mod's, its easy to get a big splash for photo..........

Maybe i could tag along one day before i get my series! Im like a poxy kid at christmas looking for landys. Reason i want a series is i love how the look / the age of them and insurance is silly money!

Keep an eye on the thread dan, your welcome to come along next time we off.

Took the family down to rendlesham forest for a bike ride and then had a drive round the nearby green lanes (Sutton). Great weather and extremely dusty but nice and quiet, didn't see a soul.

Sounds great as today I picked up my first landrover defender!!! Can't wait to get out might not be for a while as a baby due any day but will be out soon haha! Anyone go to that Essex landrover meet on every 3rd tue in Writtle? Also is there lanes near Writtle at all?

That series is on a modified Disco chassis as the original was rotten :) Its a pretty awesome toy.

Went out round Braintree/Wethersfield/Sible Headingfield/The Notleys with my mate yesterday and ended up here :D

Was a good day but the lanes are getting dry :(

Even that ford is low, usually around 2 foot deep.

My truck is now dead, sold the radiator and a few other bits off it yesterday so now its officially going nowhere ever again.

It was showing just under the 2ft marker, it looks less impressive than it actually was due to mine being lifted and on big tyres. Was more of a challenge for my mate in a standard height one :D

More problems with Patch, my very slow water leak, that I could not find, has now turned in to a large one lossing a header tank full every day or day and a half, it seems to be the Gasket PTE100790 that sits between the block and the Water Pump distance block.... so have just ordered a nes water pump gasket ERR3248 and a PTE100790... more repairs for the weekend....... or one night if it get too bad.
