Hi Peeps,

Just a quick question about rear recovery point for driving day on Saturday (I guess Matt could advise as he does the checks) - is a heavy duty tow-bar classed as a sufficient recovery point on the rear??

Got jate ring on front.

Thanks

Spike

Yes. As long as it is all bolted on well.

The driving day is on Sunday!

Thanks for that Matt. The tow bar on the new landy is much heavier than the one on my old landy (seems to be mounted in more locations too), and that pull Nick out when he bottomed out on his rock sliders!! :D

I could have sworn I saw 17th somewhere!!! Loosing it I think dude! Thanks for letting me know - could have been a bit lonely otherwise!

Picked up an old sip 130 turbo mig welder for 25 nicker, it's one of the old ones with the big old square push buttons on the front not the new cheaply made ones that don't work properly, went and got a large bottle of gas and gauges gave it a good ole clean up and it works a dream:D gonna make a light bar to get me old welding arm back in before I think of tackling me ole front dumb irons:D:D we'll chuffed:D

How much did you pay for the gas as i am going to get some tomorrow along with some 400x800 to make some rock sliders.been quoted £ 130 for years rental and gas it's the x size i think which is the smaller one, may be get the bigger if not a lot more.
