Didn't get time to put my old gearbox back in today which means I have no diff lock and it keeps jumping out of gear when in low range.

Nah just sorting out crap at work that had nothing to do with me as usual.
Don't know if it's worth taking the truck out until I've sorted the box. Be just my luck I blow it up and have to get a RAC lift home.

What wheels you get in the end Dan?

Right! The new springs and shocks are on. Sitting much(!) higher :D

Road test will hopefully be this afternoon. Just waiting for some paint to dry on the new spring retaining brackets I made up for the rear. I'll get them clamped on, wheels on and then take it for a spin.

Okay.... Went and picked some children up from school. Involving the A14. Got up to a decent speed and all seems well

Only slight niggle would be a little rumble at 15mph. Nothing else though :D

Got some new UJ's and rubber bits to go on one day but I think all is well for a change

Now to start the welding

Another noob question RE: Newbourne Driving Day

Can you bring a passenger to the Newbourne driving day, or does everyone in the vehicle have to be a member of SLROC???

Thanks dude!! :D :D

Do you know what times the driving day is on - looked on the SLROC site, but couldn't see any start and finish times? - I have to get my passenger back to Melford for 3pm, so would probably turn up as early as I can.
