Will do, I'm only In Wickford is it every tuesday you have a pub meet. your earlier post said 1st tuesday or is that for a bit of laning.

yer its a pub meet at the thatchers arms great warley we go laning one tuesday in the first of the month then at the pub for the rest its a good crowd

I've just got a TDi Auto for the winter but have a few issues to sort out like the ABS before I take it out to play.

I think Bures on the 24th October will be its first day out to play.

It is standard apart from some MT tyres so I dont want to damage it like I did my old V8
 
Hopefully there will be a few of us,

My Discover TDi, a Defender, another Tdi being trailered there for some serious treatment and possibly a Shogun.
 
I've just been spending my birthday cash on some front towwing points, shackles and a couple of ropes in preperation for some Bures fun. :)

Im in Essex (Braintree) maybe next time you guys go out I could tag along. totally new to this (done a little green laning on my own! but no fun by ya self!)
 
I'm only in Braintree and dont have anyone local who want to go out and play when I do. Let me know if you want to try a few easy lanes round our way this weekend.

Hi ya Brian, would love too but Saturday and Sunday I've got my daughter and she hates green laning (she's only 5 and would rather stay in watching playhouse Disney) but I'm free most week days
 
My 8 year old Daughter loves the off roading and green laning and has done for years.

She always wants to help when I am working on my cars and has even gathered her own toy tool kit to copy what I do. She found a place on the garage to keep it as well....

My son on the other hand prefers to sit on his xbox all day playing COD with his mates.
 
Does anyone else fancy a few hours out round Braintree one evening? I get home from work around 7pm usually.

Count me in, I've never been laning in the dark--

Can't do Thursday night or Friday night :(
