I am thinking of sticking 2 inch spring spacers on mine. Already got cranked rear arms so need to do the fronts but Graham told me to redrill the swivels instead. Chris if you want Bailey morris props give me a shout and i will see how much they are as we deal with them direct at work.

I just dont see the appeal of proper old ones unless concours lol
But i cant stand being cold i suppose lol

I know what you mean, but its only until the spring and then I'll start my Disco hunt again (once prices have settled).

TBH I am shocked how basic and agricultural these are and if someone offered me what i paid for it now I would prob sell it.
Its only toy as I've been told I can have a people carrier for work (should get it in the autumn) and I should make a little in the spring by selling the winch and roof rack separate to the landy.

Well done on getting the Disco running, I can't wait to see it laning!

I'm after a winch Nick, what what have you got?

Ohh yes please, I was gonna email them this week about prices.

'Extreme' props are £180 +VAT each and you need an adaptor for one apparently which is £50 +VAT.

OK, the adaptor is to convert it to a 4 bolt flange and loose the donut so you can forget about that. So just £180 for each prop plus VAT.

Oooo sounds tempting just to say I have "extreme" props

So they better then the GKN ones Paddocks and GL sells?

I have GKN 30 degree props on my truck - don't actually know what they do or what there for - also QT castor correct steering arms (again I don't know what there for lol)

Ignore that I saw that on page before.
Right that's an investment for next year. Is front and rear needed or front more major to change then rear?

Advice required..... I have one unmodified disco 1 and one clueless owner!

I want to put some basic mods on the old girl so i can tag along on some laning outings. So far I've got as far as putting together a play list on my iPod and buying my steering and diff guards.

Any advice on what to buy and what to avoid would be appreciated, i basically need everything, including a new set of wellies!
