I'm going to try to cut some notches into it with my Dremel and then try hammer it off.
Failing that might have to have a go with a puller, but not a lot to get hold of.

Oh and yes I've still got the steering box. Sorry been silly busy with work, building projects at home and getting the 110 road worthy. Give me a bell sometime and we'll sort it out.

Yeah, that's ####ed..... no way of getting a puller on that lol.

The last option would be to weld some lugs onto it and break out the slide hammer :eek:

I reckon go with the groove and a blunt cold chisel. Again, watch out for bits breaking off the chisel!
 
I'm clearing out all my defender/disco spares at mo, got 50 bits on eBay and loads more I haven't listed yet so if anyone needs any if it let me know!
