No probs mate anytime. Have you investigated it any further?

Well so far today ive fitted a new starter to the connect as well as raised its suspension, then removed the bullbar off the disco, along with the lower half of the front bumper and corners, as well as removed the rear ARB and fooked exhaust, and replaced with a good second hand one and its not even mid day!

Well just finished up after a day working on my landy.

Yesterday after towing my new spares car home we all got in to tow the trailer up to the barn and the gearbox would not change up.

After trying a fluid top up and a few other things we gave up and jumped in my car to pick up Dans disco.

As he hasn't got grandad rights I still had to drive his landy towing the trailer so was a long day and late night.

Today I dropped the gearbox sump and fitted a new filter and fluid.

I also investigated my noisy engine and found the alternater was gone and the belt tensioner fooked.

These bits came off my doner so it's already started paying me back.

Well the engine sounds quieter (bloody Bures, I ain't going again) so after checking the gearbox fluid level went for a test drive.

It was stuck in first, but Mikey said sometimes it needs a short tun to unstick some things in the box.

Took it half a mile and turned round then on the way back it started to change up.

So I am a happy man this evening. Time to crack open the gin.

Bring on the snow. :D

Whoops:

Starting to get ****ed off now :(

Did a bit more on mine yesterday but now the electrics are playing silly buggers :violent:

Main beam comes on with the ignition with the mainbeam dash light on dim and flickering and turning the headlights on with the ignition off turns several dash warning lamps on.

Well it's been a bad day today.

Was working from home when I heard a massive bang outside.

Opened the door to see my sons mint golf tucked under the front of my landy after some kid with a 2 week old driving licence had smashed into the golf.

Managed to crush the rear of the golf and push it into my landy and moving it about 6 foot back.

That's a 2 ton truck in park with a good handbrake on.

Believe it or not the only damage to the landy seems to be a bent steering rod and slightly bent panhard rod.

The steering box arm has paint on it and might of been damaged.

There is a clicking on the steering that I don't think was there before.

I hope there is no more hidden damage.
