Keep an eye on eBay "newly listed" that's how I got mine! Don't be afraid to travel either! There is a lack of discos down south! If your willing to travel you will get more for ya money! I brought mine 2 weeks ago for 1700 fully kitted - with all the extra's.

Whatever you buy will be an investment as soon as it snows.[/quote]

Yes mate :D I ripped the headliner out of one of my Transits when it caught fire in the roof and I got a shower every time I got in it when it was cold outside.

I found leaving all windows down overnight helped as it keeps inside and outside temperature the same.

You might need a wooly hat :D

Im not sure ill have a truck for long leaving the windows down lol, definitely think a wooly had is needed even if its all insulated by wales lol, theirs a few drafts!, well done on the truck, and to those that helped sterling job!

Land Rover Discovery 300tdi diesel MOTd TAXd | eBay
this is the one on ebay he want 1600 for it? any thoughts plz

2nd time of listing, original listing 230669476608
Originally sold for £1605
If you remove all bids form the non paying highest bidder then it would have ended @ £1410.

As Wickford90 said, ask for pic's of the normal rusty areas. remind him you are a genuine buyer not a dreamer, time waster etc and once you've found a few of the rusty bits I'm sure you could get it for £1300 - £1400

NEVER! I've got one I'm gonna keep! That needs nothing doing to it :)

That sounds pretty good but you need to see the rear arches inside the back doors and the boot floor at least. Good thing it doesnt have the sunroofs as they only leak :D

Front internal wings Behind the headlight/Battery boxes, i know he says the been done but inner and outer, front foot wells, what you have to remember Disco's RUST EVERY WHERE.....

Also

"Starts first time every time even on cold winter days. Engine is solid and has had EGR removed and a K & N air filter fitted".... Long time since we had a realy cold morning.... and K&N filters are oil soaked, there is a train of thought that the oil in them ****es the MAF..... so I have not put one in, nor have many others

"I don’t think it has actually done as many miles as the mileometer says because the speedo was over reading by about 10% (which I have now rectified) – therefore the mileometer has been clocking up a bit quicker than necessary"....... Why muck about with the odo and how has he rectifed......????

Just my thoughts.....
