Yes mate :D I ripped the headliner out of one of my Transits when it caught fire in the roof and I got a shower every time I got in it when it was cold outside.

I found leaving all windows down overnight helped as it keeps inside and outside temperature the same.

You might need a wooly hat :D

At least its nearly there, there are bound to be teething problems for the first few weeks I reckon until things settle down.

I will be replacing all the jubilee clips with stainless ones this week.
 
Well done Matthew and all concerned, especially Stu, what a legend.

Sorry I could not stay longer but I'm glad I left when I did, having never towed a trailer before (I guess I should have mentioned that :lol: ) I did not want to be manoeuvring in the dark especially with my window tints.

I'm glad I did have some light when I had to turn around down my road and made a bit if a meal of it, good job there was plenty of room. :D

Well I try to do my best,

Was a good weekend and considering the size of the job to do that in the hrs from 22:30ish on Friday night till 19:30ish on sunday night, may be have been a bit fool hardy, but hey it what makes the owners of Landys a bit different. At the end of the day Matt did drive out of the Garage, yes a few issues just to fettled out but.

It was good to meet the guys that I have not meet before, It was fantastic working with a Group of guys that just got down and did the job, with very little prompting, thank you all for that. Think all brought something to the party.

I must admit tho, I was glad to go home and have a proper few Hrs sleep on the Saturday night in my own bed, as that garage was not the best to sleep in did get a few mins sleep but with Matt in the back ground banging away with his belove'd it was a hard task, and the dam place was cold, lol.

Looking back on it it would have been nice to do it as a sponsered event to raise some money for somthing like a local kids charity in suffolk/essex, maybe next time.....

I took loads of pic's and will post them up latter on my picscia account for you guys to see....

An experiance that should the situation arise again I would take part, maybe get b&b or drag my caravan down next time......

dont know yet mate, just got to sort a few things out, like washing and ironinig , and also get my room clean..........Yes guys for those that dont belive it I do Clean/cook/Wash and iron....

I've got the disco back to mine. Got to the unit for about 12 noon and winched it onto the lorry and drove it back.

Got it in the garden and opened the bonnet, checked to make sure the turbo hose was done up tight and saw a single wire hanging down near the turbo inlet........ starter solenoid :doh:

Plugged that on and it started :D
 
So left to do is just check ALL nuts and bolts, replace a few that we ****ed up and then I'll be sorting the boot floor out, refit bumpers, painting bits and then getting it all back together and cleaned inside for Wales :D
