well..... glad your all looking forward to things....

Got up this morning got in the Disco.... would not start......run upstairs got changed into leather to get bike out guess what.... flat battery......pushed it to the Disco took the two seats off, found the jump leads started the bike, got to work LATE....... and forgot to take some truoses, now looking like some YMCA reject walk...


Put veg oil last night , thnk I may have not put enogh desiel in to thin it down for this morning .... HOPE it warms up today enough for me sto start it tonight..... will be doing 50/ 50 from now on mixed in the jerry cans...

Stu, call me at lunchtime. If it doesn't start when you get back to yours, I'll come and jump it if no one else is home at yours.

It is lovely and sunny so it should warm the tank nicely today but such is life. I did say didn't I..... :D :D :p

Ok mate, I just called you, hopefully it would of warmed up enough to start, i did put a bout a letter of petrol in then a couple of liters of deisel in ovisuly it was not enough......felt so silly in the garage putting that into a landy.... had no more cash on me tho, the petrol wa in the garage at home.....
 
Can no one help with lanes near violets? Lol everyone moans about the thread being about lanes and when we try talk about em nothing happens lol
 
Well we made it to wickford, matt dhould of by now got a few thing undone, I am in kfc waitong,for a cole of barhin buckets......... We is starvin. Call this conveniance food, you have to drive 5 1?2 miles to get it, when you get there you got to wait for it to cook, glad they dont call iy health food....,any way, nice lady at the window...... Just cant understand what the **** she says... But I think she loves my vely lots
 
Just gone half four in the morning. Stu is snoring his head off.

Need to drain coolant, remove rad and intercooler, engine loom, throttle cable and a few little bits then it should be ok to lift the body.

I under-estimated how long this would take lol!

Found Violets lane, bone dry, and a few more lanes around it.

Found a great ford that must have been 50 yards long and 3 foot deep along most of that. :)

I did the navigating as I did not need to find another mirror for a while at least.

Thanks for the lift Chris. Home at 3 for me probably at least 3.30 for the others.

If your still working on the chassis swap and have not gone for a sleep then I'll pop over to see if I can lend a hand for a couple of hours.
 
You must have found Standon Ford goes by a house and a foot bridge a few feet higher. The Tree hangs down over the middle of the water. Usually thats quite deep it has been known to be above door tops and some in flood.

Radio sorted! It was the interior light fuse (why the hell the radio only worked when the interior light was switched off beats me)

Think I'm gonna need some new UJ's can't for the life of me get grease in my nipples! Think I need some serious pressure to push it thru - my grease gun just won't do :(

Try a little pokey thing like an awl and press in the little ball in nipple.........sounds a bit wrong but hey
