Hey nick how are you, if i were you i would get your disco in to the MOT garage a good while before its due so you can effect any repairs in time for the actual MOT, i did with mine and she needs a new boot floor which i have almost done and ive cut the cills off completely and replacing them with a nice thick 60mm 120mm steel box section, both rear body mounts had badly corroded which i have replaced and im sure the back is sitting a good inch higher now lol so beware its bound to be worse than you think lol, and by the way when are we going to do the other half of those lanes we did a while ago, really enjoyed that day but try and make it a sunday this time so the other half can come along ok cheers all Steve.

Well after a morning of exploration and ripping the interior out of the Disco I have a few places that have been effected by the Ferrum Lumbricus .....boots ok tho. so hopefully going to try and do it myself with the help of matt. Think I got to learn to weld as I have a Disco......

Any sign of that oil light again Stu?

Na not yet mate, I'll give it a few days, as it was a bit sporadic, to say the least, sometimes it came on before the engine had warmed up, I would turn the engine off and restarted it and it did not come on some days it did not come on at all. sometimes it came on and stayed on no mater how high the rev's were.

But after the hassel we had changing the sensor it better be the problem......:pop2::pop2::pop2::pop2:

Thanks you for your help today.

Well yet again I've bitten off more than I can chew. Wanted the second coat of paint to be on my end of play today and I haven't even finished the prep yet.
Gonna have to take the Passat to Billing and Disco's gonna be out of action for a while as I need to strip and get rid of my Corrado and Saab before the Landlord completely does his nut.
Too many cars, not enough time and nowhere near enough skill!

Ahhhhh rubbish :( no ride for me :( Get the saab and carrado over to mine whilst you do the landy this week.....

Thanks for the offer Dan appricate it, but really I just need to get on with them. Cost and time of trailering them both back and forth would just be a waste and I'd still need to actually get on with stripping them.
See how work goes tomorrow, what time I get back and how the weather is in the evening.
