Got swivel pin bearings all done on both sides ( thanks James). all i have to do now is fit the new hd steering rods, all measured up as originals so it should steer in a straight line, and fit the rtc damper. then if the vibration on slowing down is still there its prop off time again, realign yokes and maybe replace ujs again, still should be ready for the 18th.
Don't Mikeys 90 pick up look cool.

You've got a lot done :)

please don't tell me you got it with everything on it you want already, and it has not got any niggling problems you need to sort out. because if thats the case you are one lucky s.o.b.

lol your right its no where near how i want it! i haven't done a list, i think it will scare me! Gonna be sorting a cover for the buck first because im gonna be using it as my daily for work.

Might have some wiring to do as well if Mike's finished Tiny's latest modification. :D

will be finished tomorrow morning!

I picked up my full length roof rack and ladder today.
Might try and fit at the weekend, buts its rather heavy to do on my own.
What with the lift and now the rack, multistories are a thing of the past.

Re the 18th
How are we going to route this?

Stu are you able to copy the route onto Geoff's PDA? Can it be emailed???

If not I still have the paper copy of the route. I'll try and get someone to join me for the day as it had mileage markers for each turn.
That if provided the trip is reset at the start of the day (forgot lasttime)

I might be around this weekend Chris if you need a hand with the box.

Need to be around Saturday evening though for stefans birthday drink.

Took the 90 for a test drive today as I finished the conversion but I had forgot to tighten the jubile clip to the small water hose on thermo housing, temp when up and water every where  but well impressed loads more power, she goes up hills in 5th gear and I can do over 70mph:D:D:D no more getting overtaken by milk floats and being stuck in the inside lane all the time:D:D
Just got wire the leaky fan and sort the egg sauce tomorrow hopefully the rain will hold off

Front dislocation cones really are not a necessity, you should'nt have a problem if you leave them out.

I got them thrown in the deal for free so I may as well use them, and its an other little mod on the toy.

Also got to do some wiring my self now, just got some of them Pound land type of Stobes for front and rear from China arrive in the post today..... Just need to find some Cheap binacle switches (Rear or front fog ones) now, got the cable.

Geoff can you PM me your email addy, i cant find it.

Well that's a bummer Stu! Next week is laning and/or slroc week after is rougham.... have you got any week days off?

I'd have just done it all anyway then added the front dislocation cones at a later date. That way you'll get to play with them :D

Finally got it all back together, swivel pin bearings both sides done, terrafirma HD steering arms and RTC damper on, back on the road but still got a f@@king knocking thought it was brake pads, but it's not. Doing my head in now, gonna have me dinner and a bottle of red and think about it again tomorrow.

I'd like to know what you think after the laning next weekend. It may just be my next purchase along with some terrafirma HD steering bits :)
