Aye, am hoping I will get these jobs done quickly.
Might wip the seats out and give it a quick rinse inside yes.

Oh also gonna fit the alarm box and fob off the doner too. Plus change one of the trailing arms.

Does anybody need a nearly new spare tyre for there disco? I am looking to part ex mine for a bald knakered one.

I want to sell my General Grabber AT's seperaty and need some old wheels to put on the truck to sell it as spares or repair, and it would be a shame to let it go with a nearly new tyre on there.

Not free mate. As I am selling mine as spares or repair I need to recoup as much cash as I can.

It's a nearly new, if not new tyre so would cost at least £65 for someone to have one fitted.

I am looking for £50 part exchange. Ono

And what brand is it? Might just buy a new set of 5 for mine in the summer as mine are getting lowish. Still another 5 or 6mm on them but for offroading I want a bit more bite.

Last update from me.

Got the doner completely stripped and got the shell onto the trailer.
Finally fixed the handbrake and got the rear prop attached. Put all the centre trim back together, replaced the faulty door solanoid and changed the alarm ecu.
Gave it a quick wash down and cleaned the worst of the mud out of the inside.
All thats left now is to try and get it MOT'd tomorrow then scrap the doner.

What size are they Brian, and what you asking for them I know someone that is after a set of AT's that my be interested?,

If they where MT's i might be, lol

Unfortunatly Chris is keeping his as a spare (dont blame him ) Looking on ebay prices seem to vary hugely with some jokers wanting £300 for a 2nd hand one :doh:

Nearly got the old one off over the weekend, just left with the bolts holding it onto the box.

This is what was on the drain plug

The General Grabbers are standard ES size. 235 70 16

I am looking for £300 ono. They are on ES alloys.

Snorkel now fitted
All sealed up with Tiger seal.

Breather kit fitted, just the diff's for the mo but 4 empty (blanked off) outlets ready the the remaining breathers.

I'm going to tidy up the 6mm breather going up the snorkel.

Nick,

Thats looking good mate, on the end of the breather pipe up the Snorkel , if you drill a hole in the underside rather then run it thruoh the grill it just tidys it up a bit,

The more I look at the shiney ones it is deff better black. I am about all weekend this week end as kids are away, so if you fancy doing your fablon its no prob.

Black will def look good with the dark blue.

Also posted in the Herts forum...my 300TDI Disco is coming together and looking to have her MOT’d at the end of the month. I’m after either a volunteer or for someone to point me in the direction of someone who would be kind enough to volunteer to do some small simple pieces of welding to the chassis, rear body mounts and a couple of other areas (all areas just need plating)

Everything has been cleaned down, treated and fully prepped so just ready for the metal to be cut to the welders preferences and to be welded.

More than happy to financially cover someone’s costs & time as well as constant stream of tea, bacon sandwiches and witty conversation.

Oh and I’m just outside Bishops Stortford / Harlow in Much Hadham.
