which would be the better disco and what are the differences between the two models?

I believe they're quite similar specs and could have had options added new and changes made since.
So concentrate on chassis, engine etc...

ES is higher spec from new! Adventurer is only half leather and has manual sunroofs, at least mine did anyway!

i would go on the condition of the vehicle to be honest, spec inside is not much diff on both, but condition outside, chassis and engine etc is the costly bit, as these vehicles are getting older by the day!
