As per title, I've acquired a drum of ep90 so am planning on doing diffs & t'box but wasn't sure about putting it in the gearbox as I remember someone saying it was too thick for an lt77....what do ya reckon?
 
you will also bugger baulk rings quite quickly,baulk rings to work have grooves to strip oil from gear cone to allow baulk ring to brake gear to allow synchro hub to engage it, thick oil is too thick for lt77s and r380s
 
fair enough I won't be doing that then. Just means I've got enough ep90 to last me a couple of years :D

yes dont put gl5 in your transfer box of it will slowly eat away all the brass fittings.

according to the research i have done on this and other forums.
gl5 is ok in td5 transfer boxes.
it had better be coz its in mine:D
 
i wouldnt as from apart from diff lock selector and hi/low selector diff gears have thin yellow metal thrust washers
