offer way back on page 3 still stands!!
Classic Kev, may take you up on the offer as I am at the point of needing moral support.
Sorry to hear that mate, atleast you gave it a good go, many would have given up the ghost ages ago....Range Rovers are for those who will tolerate the unreliability and the sheer stress inducing issues they have...took it out yesterday, did 8 miles, the new fuel pump packed up.
Took it out, hit it (enjoyed that part) put it back in and flattened the battery trying to start it. RAC rescue, jump started it and it ran. He followed me home, (3 miles) and despite a 30 min rest waiting for RAC it overheted as I got home.
It is now on ebay starting at £350 (value of reg no.)
I have had a call (less than 15 mins of listing ) from a breaker, so I may get my wish and if he wins, he has promised me some pictures as it gets stripped.
I just have this nightmare that like "Christine" in the book / film, it will rebuild itself and wait for me along the road....
so next week if it sells, I will be looking for a Defender. Should never have sold my last one.
Live and Learn.
Thank you to everyone on here, especially Datatek, Wammers, et al, you know who you are, for all the help over the last few years.
I will still be haunting these pages, only without the stress of needing help.

Deffies are cool, got one at work, can't get me out of it....!! Good Luck!
cheers saint, I have already looked at a few whilst on ebay, I think I will be posh and go for a county!
Open the window - is what I do!!Get your right arm removed if you buy a Defender, nowhere to put your elbow so arm removal helps with the discomfort.
The witch has gone.
May she be broken into a thousand pieces and each piece broken in two.
Not bitter. much.
So just the P38 to get rid of now then?
