Had an event with the check light last night drove home from work ran as normal stopped to fill up but when started engine throttle blipped every time it started and as I pulled away notice the check light was on low on power and didn't respond very well to throttle now 8 hours later just a short run round the block engine is fine again no check light hopefully just another bad connection or possibly something breaking down under heat can someone list the sensors that would trigger the check light?.
Don't have a code reader just wondered if someone had these symptoms before.

Hi, I can't help much with diagnosing your problem I'm afraid but hopefully someone will come along with some good suggestions, I'm aware that the No 4 injector can play up which is why I have a couple of spares (if it turns out to be that let me know and we can come to some sort of an agreement). I also believe that the throttle position sensor can cause problems but I don't have one of those, I do have a spare EDC fuel pump just in case it's ever needed so if turns out to be that and your stuck for one then I don't mind letting it go as I'm confident with mine and I don't expect to have any immediate need for the spare one. I guess the only other suggestion I would have would be to check for fuel supply issues such as blockages or air getting into the system, I'm assuming that it has been regularly serviced so recent fuel and air filters and no restrictions there. Good luck with it and keep us updated.

Cheers discoray Done 100 miles since the event and runs beautifully checked a few connections nothing corroded up the wire from the 4th injector is crushed against the cylinder head were it comes out of the injector will inspect and create some space will get the code pulled if it happens again.
