Hi
This evening when coming home the landy lost power and speed when I was travelling down the motorway. So I pulled over popped the bonnet and oil was being forced up through the dip stick when the engine is rev.
Have any of you any idea what this could be. I have an idea what it is but just want some feed back to see what everybody else think it may be.

Yeah I'm thinking something like that to. But I'm thinking piston ring, and I was just pleased with it the other day as it just clocked over to 100000 miles lol ��
 
Just an update 4 cracked Pistons 1with a minute hole in it. Then more looking, cracked hot plugs in head all 4 of them. Worn exhaust valve guides. Then more dropped sump and the crank bears are all worn so I stripped it of every last nut and bolt and found the cam was buggered, measured the bore and it turned out it needs a rebore. Not looking good so I took it all to a engineering firm I know and he said the the head is not from that block it off a 2.5 n/a. Great

the heads are the same td used thicker headed ex valve
 
Mine's on 99967 and it's chugging like Ivor the engine and the injector pump is peeing out diesel so I'm at the crossroads of rebuild or replace....
