I was driving along and my disco TDI just cut out .I googled it and it said run a wire from the fuel pump solenoid to the battery.I did this and have just managed to drive it to a friend's house.My question is what will be causing the problem or is there various reasons ?

Hi

Depending on your specific 300tdi Disco.

Year / Auto / Man

It may be the spider causing the issue. If you do a search this was discussed yesterday on here.

FUEL ! Take your Fuel filter Of & see how full it is !
