Bought a Disco 2 and phoned original dealer and called local LR dealer to get the EKA code. They both gave me the same four digit code but its two letters and two numbers i.e A12B. I was expecting four numbers and the owners book only talks about a procedure with numbers. Any advice ? Have they given me the wrong codes ?

if u plug in a testbook, nanocom, hawkeye, etc. u can read the EKA stored in the BCU and set/save in a new one.
 
i did`nt select `eka on` coz, well it was already on. or so i assumed.
its good to have people like you sierrafery on this site:)
 
I went outside to check it myself cos my statement was based on what a friend(who i trust) told me. It seems you are right:eek:... i couldnt read it aswell:(.

:mad:It's a lesson for me to not bank on others when i say something... sorry for that
