Hello everyone me again.
Can anyone tell me the difference between the Fastkit Emergency Inflation Device £248 and the other fleebay device offered 69.95?
The Faskit looks the better product but can it really be 4 times as good?
Has anyone fitted any of these devices, I know well enough that an EAS problem will occour sometime in my P38 future.

Where is the Fastkit thing can't find it? I would think both and in particular the Fastkit are seriously over priced for what they are. Not seen the Fastkit as i say, but the other one is a lot of money for four pushin Ts and four tyre valves and a bit of plastic pipe. You can probibly get the lot for less than £20.00 to £30.00 and make it up yourself. Basically it is only four tyre valves teed into your feed pipes. Your local pneumatic supplier should have all you need.
 
ive got the £70 kit fitted to mine have had to use it a few times and it works well and does as it says on the tin
 
Well i suppose if you don't maintain things properly you may need one of these things now and again. But £248.00 as opposed to £70.00 if you really think you need one, and for the use it's going to get, is a no brainer. You can do a lot of repairs to your EAS for £248.00.
 
I've got one on mine, fitted by the previous owner. I just can't see the point of it. The T pieces were leaking so I had to replace them but I should have just taken it off and thrown it in the bin.

It won't thelp at all in the situation of a leak and hard faults are fairly rare. You'd be better off investing in an EAS Kicker.
 
The best emergency kit is a single T onto the compressor pipe with a tyre valve on it so that you can pressurise the tank at a petrol station. Cost about £10. With the change buy an EAS Kicker. You now have full reset with diagnostics in the glovebox with the same emergency response as a MARS kit.

This will get you out of 99% of EAS problems a manual inflation kit will and you will have a fully functioning EAS. I found with manual inflation it is very difficult to get the car level and the handling can be 'interesting' to say the least.

Im just trying to cover all the bases lads, we all know how many probs the eas can cause.
Iv replaced all the bags Suspension and brakes and have the software to clear faults, so i think Im getting there.

I had a kit fitted years ago when my Rangie had the odd EAS fault now and then - 4 tiny gauges plus the T Pieces, cost about £60 and works really well, or at least it did the last time the Rangie dropped to her bump stops about 3 years ago!!!

That doesn't work, no petrol station pump will go up to 145 psi.:croc:
 
Well I watched the video.
What!
Do I get meatballs with all that spaghetti?
For that sort of money I'd expect it to do my tyres as well, and all without me leaving my driving armchair.
