It is ideal to have one at hand ..
They are an invaluable tool.. but 900 mm minimum I would say!!
Even fir cracking off wheel nuts..
But if you can get a cordless it is handy..
As if you need to change a wheel in the middle of the countryside you will need one long extension cable with a 240 one
My little 18v Bosch one is rated way lower than that I think but it’s not yet failed me moving stubborn rusted stuff or getting wheel nuts off..

View attachment 142600 Just that one...from screwfix.. it can put out nearly a 1000 constantly but initial kicks are 1250 we have the dual voltage 18/54 v 9 ah batteries in them though and they are 160 quid each

cheers , only thing it’s gets expensive by the time u end up adding a charger and batteries on top

would have thought u would need at least 3ah

did look at some others and the ah was around 1,2 so wouldn’t last long

but it all gives plenty for room of thought , the 240 v one does seem to be an ideal solution for men returning half decent nm along with not much money

You’ve been lucky lol..,
We have a digital high reading torque wrench at graft .. it took 1520nm to get one wheel nut of that disco when I got it... that’s what we tighten M20 bolts up to

Ah see I’ve taken the sensible precaution of not owning a Discovery or trying to undo M20 bolts that u done up ;)
