My pal has to keep using his EKA code to start his old 96 P38 & has asked me for some advice? Would he just need to change the batteries in the key fob?
 
Maybe.. if he can unlock/lock remotely the fob battery is ok, but that's not the only issue an immobilising system can have.

So if he has to use the key to unlock the battery is shot & most prob a new batt will sort problem but if the fob opens the door maybe a trip to a nice man with a diagnostic machine will help him out kindly for a bag full of cash?
