Hi guys,

Just wondering does anyone know the spec of this bolt, microcat, paddocks etc isn't giving much clues, just says it a 'special bolt'. Anyone know the thread pitch, size, tensile strength. Thanks,

Shane

5/8 unf thread, 15/16 hex head with a muckle wide/ thick washer is all I can say for certain.

I need to get a longer one. A friend dug out a Zeus book and gauge 9/16 unf x 18 x 2 1/4" is the bolt I need but the nearest I can get is 2".

Pretty sure it's not 9/16 dia thread.
I use a lot of m16 metric bolts at work and it is the same diameter to the eye, so 5/8" unf.
Also, you can use a 24mm socket on the bolt head which is nigh on same as 15/16".

Yep that's the plan. See how it goes. My uncle had the bolt I needed in an old box. He's said its off an old international tractor.

Sorted then. I think the bolt was the same though, crank shaft not tapped as far, but I've been wrong before ;)
As long as I had 15mm engagement, I wouldn't worry
