Picked up my 110 yesterday which is currently fitted with 7.50x16 wheels and tyres, but I want something a little more stylish and have spied a set of 31. 10.5 15 wheel and tyre set,are there any adverse effects from going down an inch on rim size,or will the 15" tyres have approximately the same rolling radius?.

FFS, do the maths. The 31/10.5/15 tyre has a 31 inch diameter obviously. The 7.50/16 also has a 31" diameter as the tyre has a 100% aspect ratio (7.50x2)+16=31. So there is no difference in rolling radius. If you had done a search, you will have found this info on about a dozen other threads.

Really helpful chaps, are you lot this abrasive face to face??,appreciate the end answer, but was the FFS really necessary?.

FFS, in light of this riposte it was entirely necessary and well executed ....

An inch won't make a jot of difference as long as the rolling radius is the same. I moved from 235/70/16 via 235/85/16 to 265/70/17 and onto 315/70/17. :D:D

Im really not that easily offended to be honest,I got the answer so I'm happy. As for using the search system I've only just tried it,seems to be as hit and miss as most other forums.
As for doing the maths,I have the brain power but not the required number of digits that others in different parts have the good fortune to be born with...FFS

quick tip, use the search from the bar, its the forum search, which is better than the one in the header which is "powered by google" and seems to be hit and miss...
