Will take one tomorrow, its had the arches removed to suit 35" tyres and was waiting for extended spats to go on
 
are 8v71 blowers really worth that much, got a couple of refurb ones sitting on a scrap engine at work
 
the wheels are 750 and no 8v71's in diesel form aren't but once converted to petrol form then yes they are
 
yeah, cant remember the exact difference but I think when they get swapped over they change the rotors to spin differently
 
On the boat subject, unless I'm out of touch with large installations, but certainly sports boats and the like, one engine is run with the gearbox in forward gear and the prop cut standard, and the other box runs in reverse with the prop cut reverse.

they 2 cycle gm diesels were counter rotated with a reverse starter.2 cycle are the easiest to counter rotate with just a starter change
