Hi Guys,
So my ECU got wet last week, infact everything got wet.
After i foolishly switched the engine off i couldn't get it to restart on petrol. Although (luckily) i did get it to start and drove home fine on LPG.
It will crank nicely and has a good strong battery on it. but there is no sign of life that its going to start.
I've had a couple of plugs out and they are absolutely dry so its not getting fuel.
Also when it was on LPG it was idling at about 2000rpm when normally it would be about 750ish so seeing as the only thing the EFI ECU does when its running on gas is control the stepper motor which will be fully wound in would it be reasonable to assume that the ECU is goosed?
Just wondered if that makes any logical sense at all to anyone?
Its a 3.9 RRC btw
Thanks in advance for any ideas about my theory.
