Hi,

Just to have some more info:

- Was it a new compressor or did you rebuilt it?
- Further, did you also overhaul the valve block?
- Did you check for (major) leaks in your air springs?

Hi there. I bought it off fleabay as reconditioned, pump does seem fine. Sucking in air strong and pushing out strong. Bags are about a year old. Haven't touched valve block as I'm a bit clueless with all this. I found the exhaust that is at the rear of the valve block and unscrewed it.... It's blowing air out. Is this right?

Diaphragm has failed in the valve block, there should be no air coming out of the exhaust:eek: Easy enough job to do, symlise on ebay does them.

I would check the Diaphragm inside the Valve block. When you look at your valve block, you will notice that it consists out of three metal parts. The Diaphragm can be found between the 2 metal parts that are on top of eachother.

Diaphragm is probably cracked, causing the air from the compressor to vanish through the filter.....

Thanks man. We even improved the combi (seal + alloy bus + diaphragm) a little while ago. If you want to test it, please let me know.

Hi again you lot... right i just looked at the exhaust thingy..its really blowing out from there...now your all saying the diaphragm...

i'm a bit crap when it comes to being under the bonnet, where is the diaphragm and how do i get to it.. whats it look like..
said i was crap!!:D:D

When you take out your valvle block... You will see that it consists out of three seperate metal blocks.

The diaphragm is between the metal parts that are on top of each other.
