So story so far. Swopped front sensors over as had a Front sensor fault. That cured it. Pump ran alot, lifted slowly.

Used the Free software to check and reset all heights. No faults shown. Heights set. Pump still runs alot.

Serviced pump, full seal kit. Car lifts quickly once accumulator filled. Pump clicks on a lot. Fronts seems to correct itself a lot but settles down. As you hear the valves click(while front settles) pump clicks on a little. If your lift to normal height pump runs 30 seconds, strangely it runs for several minutes after a drop to loweest height.

The car holds its height over several nights, no drop at all.

What do I check/do next?

Not sure why it would run for several minutes when dropping to access height unless there is a leaking airbag. this would also account for the pump running too often at other heights. The leaks open and close where the bags fold under, or have you changed the bags? Can't remember.

Hey Keith, no not change bags yet. Have parked the car at each height overnight and no corner has dropped at all. So was hoping that the bags were OK. Wammers mention some diaphragm thing before? Could that be it, what and where is that? Thanks... :)

Symptoms say airbags to me, however the diaphragm is in the valve block, remove the exhaust silencer, a little cylindrical thing on the side of the EAS box towards the rear, check after the pump stops if there is air coming out, more details I think in Wammers "How To", there should be none. Bonne courage:)

If its really slow you won't feel it stick a ballon over the filter with a rubber band , screw it back on recheck in half an hour :) if its inflated your know ;);)
 
Wow scary!! Probably could do this! The bit that worries me is disconnecting the air lines? Do you just push the brass surround and the line pops out? How does it go back in?

Basicly yes they are a push fit with a little lube on reassemble its all in wammers how to link I think :)

Obviously for you its a matter of unplugging connectors and pipes removal of valve block turn it upside down four bolts. Your at the diaphragm :)

Mine fires up every now and again never drops slight rise in morning been years and still no problems ;) you've done it now just drive it it will tell you if somthing it wrong as long as your compressor it turning off chill out go drink some wine x

Your EAS unlock software allows you to depressurize the system before you pull the airlines out of the valve block ;)

Thanks, my compressor just keeps clicking on and off, with very long run periods. Hope service would fix it. Hence the diaphragm help. Gonna test it tomorrow. If buggered the I will change it. If that does let do it, then it will be time to service the valve block.... And on it goes..... ...

I tell you what drop it to access leave it running with a door open so you know the tank is full after 5 mins turn the car off in the morning start her up put it to full hight if it struggles you know your tank is emptying either the pipe or the diagpham :) and its a lot rather than a very slow leak :)

Leaking diaphragm won't cause tank to empty. However it will stop compressor from filling it. If tank is empty in the morning look at connection to tank, tank connection to valve block. Violet coded pipe or NRV 1 is leaking.

Wammers if the diagpham opens to let it air in what stops it comming out tought you said once diaphragm closes its a one way pipe sorry got it nrv 1 doh

If nrv one is leaking you can feel it out of exhuast filter in v block but only if its a good leak that's why I've done the ballon trick I stood there for ages and no leak
It was so slow
